Catch Travelling Concert Aboard the CP Holiday Train!

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 29, as the annual CP Holiday Train will be making a stop in Oshawa!

The CP holiday train will be making its anticipated in-person return after three years of virtual programming. And let me tell you, they are coming back with a line-up of epic performances!

I'm especially looking forward to catching Oji-Cree artist, Aysanabee, from Sandy Lake First Nation who blends folk, soul, and alt-pop sounds to share stories of his roots through music.

Also performing at the Oshawa stop is award-winning singer-songwriter Tennille Towns from Grand Prairie, Alberta. Tennille’s debut album picked up Debut Album of the Year at the 2021 Juno Awards and Album of the Year at the 2021 Canadian Country Music Awards.

Spectators can expect all performances to feature a blend of classic holiday songs with popular original music.

While this holiday concert series is free to the public, visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items in support of Food Banks Canada.

You can catch the train at 680 Laval Drive (behind the Walmart on Stevenson Rd. South). CP rail suggests arriving at 3 p.m. for a 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. performance.

Why not make an evening of it? Be sure to grab dinner at one of these local favourites after the event!
